Performance Aircraft Lincoln Ne - LINCOLN, Nebraska - Performance Aircraft has completed a new building for its flight training school at Lincoln Municipal Airport, due to a growing pilot shortage.

"The global pilot shortage is unprecedented," said CEO and President Bill Heckathorn. "This new facility will help us fulfill our vision of providing an educational experience that enables people from all over the world to find meaningful and successful careers in service to others.

The buildings include a new hangar that houses the school's aircraft, including Cirrus, Cessna and Piper aircraft. It also includes about 6,000 square meters of office space, including teaching bays, a large classroom, a community center, a flight simulator, and more, according to company officials.

An open house will be held from 10am. to 2 p.m. November. 23, 2019, where the building will be open for tours. The new facility is located on the General Aviation Ramp at Lincoln Municipal Airport at 1760 W. Kearney Ave.
